BIO AFRICA
ACADEMY
The BIO Africa Academy is an annual "Pre-Convention" event that forms part of the overall BIO Africa Convention, geared towards postgrad and PhD students studying within the life science field. Additionally, BIO Africa in conjunction with our partners organizes and hosts insightful and informative webinars, which form part of the academy's knowledge library.
In partnership with our stakeholders, students will be sponsored to attend the Bio Africa Convention. A selected few will also be given an opportunity to attend the BIO Africa Academy.
ELIGIBILITY:
Must be a Masters, PhD, or Post-Doctorate Student who resides in South Africa.
Must be currently enrolled at a tertiary institution.
Must be willing to travel to Durban for the BIO Africa Convention.

BIOAFRICA ACADEMY 2024
The pre-convention, BIO Africa Academy 2024, took place at the University of Kwazulu-Natal Westville Campus, the academy was attended by students and start-ups from all over Africa and had a lecturers and thought leaders from
all over the globe leading a series of interactive learning sessions based on the Convention theme - 'Ensuring Health Security Through Investing in Vaccine Innovation and Manufacturing.'
